William MacDonald (Mac) Evans, BSc 1964 (Elec) was presented with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree at this year’s convocation on June 5th.

First year engineering students at Queen's will soon have the option of choosing the Innovation Stream, which is a new offering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The stream will put an emphasis on those elements of entrepreneurship and innovation that allow technical knowledge to be successfully leveraged.

Symon Podilchak, PhD 2014, is the winner of this year's Queen's Engineering and Applied Science Outstanding Thesis award for his thesis entitled, Planar Leaky-Wave Antennas and Microwave Circuits by Practical Surface-Wave Launching. Symon's work was co-supervised by Professors Freundorfer and Antar.
